Breathing : it is very important to learn to breathe correctly. Breathing is an essential function; without it we cannot survive for more than a few minutes. Yoga utilizes dynamic breathing exercises to encourage deep relaxation. By controlling our breathing and our energy we learn to master our thoughts and emotions.

The Poses/Asanas : The poses, or positions known as « asanas », help maintain total body health. Proceed gently and listen to your body ; notice pain, tension, ease and difficulty. Awaken each zone in the body and dissolve inertia.

Free from the notion of competition, each posture adapts individually to ability no matter what the level of practice. We are not trying to twist our body into extreme positions. Instead, the session proceeds through a logical sequence of postures which strengthen and flex the entire body around the central axis of the spine.

Relaxation : Reduces stress, relieves tension that needlessly wastes energy so you can finally learn to enjoy life.
